Kids Party Entertainment in Halifax & HRM

We offer entertainment for a wide range of ages, from toddlers to pre-teens. The best choice depends on your child’s age, interests, group size and venue. Bubble Shows and Character Parties are especially popular with younger children, while Neon Disco, Kids’ Challenges, VR and Karaoke are great options for older kids.

Yes! Happy Time is a mobile kids entertainment company. We bring our programs and equipment directly to homes, community centres, party rooms, schools, daycares and other venues across Halifax and HRM.

We provide kids party entertainment throughout Halifax Regional Municipality, including Halifax, Dartmouth, Bedford, Sackville, Hammonds Plains, Tantallon, Timberlea, Spryfield and surrounding communities. We also travel to other areas of Nova Scotia for select bookings. Additional travel fees may apply outside our regular service area.

Yes! We’re happy to consider bookings outside Halifax and HRM. Availability depends on the location, travel time and our event schedule for that day, but we can travel throughout Nova Scotia and beyond when scheduling allows.

Additional travel fees are based on the distance and location of the event.

We recommend contacting us as early as possible, especially for weekends and popular dates. However, last-minute availability is sometimes possible, so feel free to contact us even if your celebration is coming up soon.

Simply fill out our booking request form online. For the fastest response, please include:

• Date and time of the event
• Location
• Child’s name (birthday star!)
• Number of children
• Preferred entertainment program (e.g., bubble show, face painting, etc.)
• Preferred character or theme

The more information you provide, the faster we can check availability and confirm the details of your party.

No deposit is required. We believe in keeping the booking process flexible for families.

We understand that plans can change, especially when kids are involved. That’s why we don’t charge cancellation or rescheduling fees. We simply ask that you let us know as early as possible if your plans change.

Happy Time is a fully registered Nova Scotia business, and we work with both families and organizations.

Payment methods include:

• Credit/debit cards (we bring a terminal)
• E-transfer
• Cheque
• Cash

An invoice and receipt are provided for every booking.

Our team usually arrives about 20 minutes before the scheduled start time to set up and prepare the entertainment area.

We don’t have a fixed limit on the number of children.

However, please let us know the expected group size in advance so we can bring enough materials and props and determine whether an additional performer would help create the best experience.

The main consideration is having enough space at your venue for the selected activities.

Yes! Our Bubble Show is designed for indoor events and is suitable for homes, community centres, party rooms and other venues. We use professional-grade, non-toxic bubble fluid that is safe for children, and we bring absorbent floor mats to protect the performance area and help keep the floor dry during the show.

Our performer also adapts the setup and program to the available space at your venue.

For our Neon Disco, we bring the UV lighting, music and entertainment props.

You’ll need a darkened space — such as a basement, room with blackout curtains or community hall — and access to a power outlet.

White or neon clothing is recommended for the best glow effect.

Each Character Party features its own theme, storyline, games, props and music.

We create an interactive experience around your chosen character or theme, with age-appropriate activities, games and surprises designed to keep the children involved.
